Hello visitor! By now, you know a little bit more about this amazing organization and how we view music. I’d like to give you an inside look on how I created this website and what the future holds.
“Our main goal is to create a platform for the future members of Dhol Effect, a legacy with which they can bring the organization to new heights.“
Constructing this website is a challenge. It’s going to be public. It’s a declaration of who we are to the world. However more exposure we receive due to this website, nevertheless, I want to keep the small-classroom feel that we’ve triumphed with since 2012.
“The next step in the creation of this website is looking back on our past as an organization.”
Every band has its origin story. I want to learn ours. To do this, I’m going to reach out to the founders of Dhol Effect, the ones who decided that Rutgers needed a fresh sound, a new take on music. I anticipate difficulty in tracking down every member since circa 2010-2012, but if all goes well, I can highlight each and every one of their stories on this site. Who were they, what did they contribute and how can we build upon their legacy?
