“Hello visitors! My name is Lydia Rebello and I’m Dhol Effect’s current Social Media Chair in charge of the organization’s Instagram, Facebook and this soon-to-be-published website!“

Making Dhol Effect a campus-wide known name is our mission.
I believe that sharing Dhol Effect’s full story on the Internet can do just that. Keeping the South-Asian culture and its music alive is a goal that all R.U.D.E.’s members, past and present, share and cherish. Through this blog, we will be introducing the origins of our organization name, the members who founded us, and the members who sustain us today.

Share in our musical journey and dreams through our members’ stories and our gallery.
Once this website’s construction comes to an end, my fellow members and I will be able to keep R.U.D.E.’s legacy alive online. It is my ultimate hope to pass this website onto the future of Dhol Effect and give them a history to remember and build on.
I think BuzzFeed is a great example of a company that started from nothing but found a niche and grew into a small empire. Their website is set up almost like a teenage newsstand. It’s a great site and a great choice to screencast.
